This is a self paced lesson on better Google searching. This type of course is called a MOOC-A massive open online course (MOOC) is an online course aiming at large-scale participation and open access via the web. A recent study said that 41% of teens would like to take an online course to learn at their own pace. We are going to use this as a trial.

- We will be completing Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3. You can skip the google hangout portions unless you are very interested in learning more.
- While viewing the classes, you must complete and assessment form for each lesson.

Class 3 has 5 sections, with a video and an activity. Watch the video and complete the activities and then complete the assessment above. Total video time for this unit is approximately 25 minutes.
When you are completely finished, do the following:
- Do a Google search and find 2 MOOCs that interest you. If the MOOC is open, join it and give it a try. There are MOOCs available for several topics, even video games. If the MOOC is not open right now or is not available, read the description and see if this is really what you would want to try. Save these links because you will need them for the survey in step 2.
